Talk about having fun, this gourd was so great to work on! The shape of the gourd is what inspired me to create a cat climbing down a tree to hunt its prey. Techniques used to bring this jaguar to life included burning, painting, carving and pen & ink. My Mother happens to be quite talented with clay, when she saw this gourd, she designed “tree stump” base for it to rest on. What a great match! If you would like more pictures, please e-mail me and I would be glad to send them to you. Height: 13” Width: 11” $125.00 plus S&H Item #4

This ship was created using burning techniques and paints, which gives it a stained glass widow effect. Sea grass would look gorgeous in this vase to give it a more “beachy” feel.
