Welcome to my website, Gourds by Lee!

       I have always enjoyed various arts and crafts, but creating art with gourds has been my favorite pastime for quite some time now. I enjoy the entire process of creating each piece, from picking out the perfect gourd for each project, to the finishing touches.

      Why did I begin creating art with gourds? Well, I was looking for a new, unique way to express my creativity. A few years ago, I was not even sure what exactly a gourd was, nevermind what you could create with them. Gourds are so much fun to work with because all of the different mediums that can be used on them effectively. I mostly work with pen & ink, "gel" pens, paint, wood burning and leather dye.

     Please take your time looking at each piece, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

     I will be adding new gourds to the site as they are completed, check back often! I would also love to hear from you.
